About the Seminar:
The seminar, led by Rabbi Yehoshua Weisinger, will focus on medicine, ethics and Jewish law. The meetings will take place every two months focusing on an Ethical and Halakhic issue (based on texts, articles or selected chapters). Meetings may include discussions, deliberations and guest lectures.

Issues of the Beginning of Life and the End of Life in the Modern Era

Genetics and Genomics and Jewish Law

Personalized medicine with a view to Halacha and ethics

Ethical and Halachic questions about complex issues such as IVF, people with disabilities in society, etc.
Meetings:
5-6 meetings during the academic year. Topics and reading material will be published and sent to the participants in advance.
Location (unless otherwise published): Steyer School of Health Professions, Tel Aviv University.

Bioethics Researchers, Rabbis, Rabbinical courts judges and Dayanim, jurists, philosophers, health professionals, halachic ethics professionals, hospital spiritual supporters, students.
